Women's Empowerment 2007

CDG is a proud supporter of Womens-Empowerment.org – from stocking stuffers at Christmas to support of the Annual Women’s Empowerment Gala event, Thursday May 3, 2007 – CDG believes in the power of this organizations’ mission – Ending homelessness one woman at a time by creating a safe, supportive and educational place for women in our community.

This past year, CDG also participated in “Jessica’s Pay It Forward” project by securing donations of bookcases, filing cabinets and labor for the administrative offices. CDG Designer Shawn Fox played a key role for CDG and was presented with this beautiful framed photo, symbolizing women helping women. The project was the brainchild of Jessica Chapman, principal of Room to Breathe, and a professional organizer.
