BIA’s Boxes for Builders

Twice a year, more than 100 volunteers gather to participate in the BIA’s Boxes from Builders effort. This semi-annual effort coordinates the preparation of more than 250 care packages that are shipped to a military units serving in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Last year, the care packages included notes from school children and members of the BIA, as well as snacks, treats, personal care items, reading materials and other comforts from home. This volunteer effort has become a favorite of the BIA membership and has grown larger each time. This past year, CDG employees joined the crew to help box and send these morale boosting packages.
