Pediatric Behavioral Health

A welcoming, comforting space for children and families

Designing a therapeutic environment for young patients required creating a space that feels safe, engaging, and supportive. The goal was to make the clinic approachable and calming, while addressing the unique needs of pediatric behavioral health. Large acoustic panels between rooms provide privacy and a sense of security, while also serving as a canvas for playful imagery of baby animals and nature. Colorful patterns and thoughtfully selected materials offer gentle sensory stimulation and visual interest, helping to engage, disarm, and delight children. Durable, easy-to-clean finishes ensure the space remains functional and inviting over time. Photographic artwork of particular significance to the client adds a personal touch, fostering connection and warmth for children and families alike.
